Thank you for visiting our online portfolio.   We are a Des Moines Family Photography studio.   Our goal is to create artwork for your home, and capture portraits that your family will fall in love with and cherish for many years to come. Memories dim and can become distorted over time — photographs are always there to remind you of your pregnancy, your babies learning to walk, your wedding, your final year in high school. Our goal is to capture those memories and preserve them for a lifetime.

We strive to offer a variety of display options to suit your décor, style, and taste. We also offer many products, like playdate cards, holiday cards, albums of your favorite images and gallery wraps.

We specialize in on-location photography, this means that all portraits will be taken either outside or in your own home. We have few amazing locations in mind or you can specify your preference for location(s) when you book your session.  We also do offer sessions in our studio in Des Moines.

Life Journey Photography strongly believes in giving back to the community we are a part of, that’s why we are offering FREE family sessions to members of Armed Forces who are getting ready to be deployed or coming back from their deployment through our Operation Portrait program.   We volunteer our services to many non-profit organizations in Des Moines and surrounding areas, as well as donating gift certificates to the auctions of local nonprofit organizations that help our community.  We also donate a portion of our sales to Journey of Kindness, a project that focuses on helping non profit organizations in developing countries.
